The New Mexico Information Technology Apprenticeship Program (NMITAP) developed the first registered IT apprenticeships in New Mexico under the support of a five-year American Apprenticeship Initiative (AAI) grant. Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) has committed to continue sponsoring and supporting these apprenticeships while also exploring other fields to help both students and employers.
